Have you ever wondered, in a quiet moment, to yourself, "Hmmm, what exactly is the difference between a proofreader and a copy editor"? No? I really didn't think so, but nevertheless, I'm going to share a couple of insightful articles on that very topic anyway!

It's easy to think of proofreading and editing as one in the same, but there are important distinctions between them and different types (especially when it comes to editing). And as technology has evolved, so has the way proofreading and editing is done. The days of doing either with pencil and paper are behind us. Nowadays, most proofreading and editing are done right on the computer screen.

I found these two resources very insightful when it comes to distinguishing between proofreading and copy editing. Enjoy!
