Editing $50/hour
Resume Updating $35/hour
Tech Writing $60/hour

Services are charged by the hour with a 1 hour minimum charge

All projects require a 50% deposit up front. The remaining 50% will be due at time of project completion.


I can't wait to get started on your project! Here are the steps to get the ball rolling:

  1. Contact me for an estimate via email or my contact form
  2. I will review your document/project and email you an estimate
  3. You agree to the estimate by sending me an email stating your approval to begin work
  4. You provide a 50% deposit through PayPal or Venmo before I begin working on your project; final 50% payment due at time of project completion
  5. I get to work polishing your document/project
  6. I deliver your completed project in a timely manner

Documents/projects need to be MS Word docs

No proprietary information will ever be shared anywhere.

Meet Kate

I believe we all have that "thing" we were born to do. That "thing" we are good at that comes easily to us, but not to everyone. I believe that editing (and writing) is my "thing." I have enjoyed working with words for as long as I can remember.

Reviewing documents, fixing errors, and tweaking a word here or there is what I do best and what I love to do.

I specialize in editing all types of documents (technical and non-technical) from reports to articles to resumes to websites. I also specialize in writing "how-tos" like how-to manuals, procedures, and instructions.

I have more than 15 years of experience and offer high-quality work that comes with a quick turnaround at a reasonable rate. My educational background includes an undergrad degree in journalism and a graduate degree in technical communications. I am also currently a full-time communications specialist spending my days reading technical and non-technical copy.
